Uttamenergy Limited (UEL) was founded in 2012 to carry on the legacy of LIPI Boilers, which has over four decades of experience in the boiler industry. Headquartered in Pune, a major engineering city with the required talent set and technological competence.
We excel in the combustion of all sorts of solid fuels, including non-traditional and complex biomass. We develop plants that generate over 5000 tonnes of steam and over 500MWe of green energy every hour while utilizing less than 2000 tonnes of environmentally friendly, green fuel.

Our in-house facility is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research in the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of India from 2018–2021.
ASME ‘U’ Stamp
Uttamenergy is authorised by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the manufacture of pressure vessels at our location in Auragabad, Maharashtra and our field sites.
ASME ‘S’ Stamp
Uttamenergy is authorised by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for the manufacture and assembly of power boilers at our location in Auragabad, Maharashtra and our field sites.
ASME ‘R’ Stamp
The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors has certified that Uttamenergy is authorised to use the ‘R’ stamp for the scope of metallic repairs and alterations at our shop and field locations.
ISO 9001 Certificate
The Certification Body of TÜV SÜD South Asia Private Limited has certified that Uttamenergy has implemented a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 for the scope of design, manufacture, supply of boilers and pressure vessels.
OHSAS 18001 Certificate
The Certification Body of TÜV SÜD South Asia Private Limited has certified that Uttamenergy has implemented an occupational health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 18001:2007 for the scope of design, manufacture, supply of boilers and pressure vessels.
